Mother’s day and flowers!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day, I know I did!

Amanda gave me these beautiful flowers.  She did the jar herself (with a small bit of help from her teacher)!  I now have 3 of these lovely jars since all 3 of my girls went to the same preschool.

Eden gave me a radish plant.  Now she really really wants us to plant a garden.

Ashley gave me bath salts.

And each of them gave me tons of drawings and homemade cards!  Eden even gave me a foot massage!  Now that’s love!

Paul and I went on a date for Mother’s day.  He also got me a gift card to one of my favorite online stores!

All in all, I had a fabulous Mother’s day!  I got to spend the whole day with my little family.  I even got a bit of a nap!  And Paul made me one of my favorites for dinner that night, Stir Fry!!!

Every time I think I’ve found a flower I think I could call my favorite, I always see a different kind.  So, while I don’t have a favorite flower, these are tied for first!  I have 4 or 5 flowers that would tie for favorite.  But for now these are the ones on my table.  Enjoy!

Ranunculus are such a cool flower!!!  All the layers of petals, all the various colorings!  So beautiful!

Eight batches later we have 40 wonderful jars of homemade strawberry jam!  Once you’ve had this, store bought just doesn’t cut it.
